Obituary of Maria Ricciardi

RICCIARDI, Maria - Passed away on Friday, November 1st, 2019 at the St Catharines Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerardo. Cherished mother of Maria Tennant (Donald Doan). Loving Nonna of Kyle (Brittany). Great Nonna of Madelyne and Breanna. Sister of Gaetano (Antonia), Antonio (Rosa), Giovanni (Velma), Angela(Domenic) and Gerarda (Gerardo). Predeceased by her sister Almerinda (Prisco). Sister in law of Pietro (Tina) and Rosa (Vito). Maria will be sadly missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. A sincere thank you to all of the staff at Extendicare for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, November 4th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St.Catharines on Tuesday, November 5th at 10a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Soicety or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
