Obituary of Helen Hachkowski

HACHKOWSKI, Helen (nee Kostinchuk)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Fun loving mother of Daniel (Sonya), Kevin (Carol) and Darren. Cherished Baba to Kristin, Stephanie and Brandon. Helen is also remembered by her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings: Peter, John, Mary, Ann, Jean, Henry, Mel, Frank, Bill, and Steve.

Helen was born in Manitoba, the youngest of eleven children. She will be remembered for her fun-loving attitude, her wit, and for always being the life of the party. Helen enjoyed bowling, watching curling, and the Blue Jays. She was a former member of the UAW Women’s Auxiliary.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, October 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
