Obituary of Zyg Muniak

MUNIAK, Zyg

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Hospice Niagara. Much loved brother to Wanda (Stan) Badowski, Joe, Theresa Bailey (the late Rodger), Stan (Sylvie) and Helen (Gino) DiMartino. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his nephew Max. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rosalia Muniak. 

Zyg loved going fishing with his brothers and nephews. He will miss playing crib with the Polish Cribbage team. Zyg spent the majority of his adult life as an Ontario Land Surveyor. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Saturday, October 12 from 1-3 p.m. A Celebration of Zyg's life will follow in the funeral home ceremony room at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
