Obituary of Pasqualina Cardillo
Cardillo, Pasqualina (nee Azotini) Our beautiful mother passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday October 5, 2019 at the age of 86. She is now at peace and no longer in pain. Pasqualina is survived by her children Maria (Danny) Catenacci, Angie (Joseph) Burgio and John. Lovingly adored by her grandchildren Julie Catenacci, Joanna (Lisandy) Garcia, Ryan (Briton) Burgio, Jason (Carolyn) Burgio, Anthony (Christina) Catenacci, Amanda (Michael) Wilhelm, John Cardillo Jr., Briden Cardillo. Proud great-grandma of Ethan, Anthony, Mia, Meyer and Dante. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Antonio, her mother Maria Giuseppa and father Ugo, father-in-law Giovanni Antonio and mother-in-law Leonilda, brothers Rimualdo and Giuseppe and sisters Filomena and Enrichetta. Our precious mother immigrated to Canada in 1967 with her children to start a new life in Canada. She faced life with strength, courage and dignity. Her hard work and perseverance will always be an inspiration to her family and everyone whose life she touched. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Henley House and her special caregivers Rebecca and Sally. Your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you.
Visitation on Monday October 7, 2019 at The George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines from 1-4pm and 6-9pm. Vigil prayers will be said at 3pm on Monday. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday October 8th at 10:30am. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
