Obituary of Simone Margaret Marie Doiron

DOIRON, Simone (nee Dugas)-  Passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at Garden City Manor at the age of 93. Beloved wife of Fred. Cherished mother of Gene, Dee (Billy), Donny (Donna), Anne (Keith), Ronald, Norma Jean ( Michael), Martin (Christine) and Yvette (Vince). Loving Nanny of 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is survived by her siblings Anita, Berthe and Marcel. Predeceased by her siblings Therese, Yves, Claudia and Jean Claude. A sincere thank you to all of the staff at Garden City Manor for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, September 20th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Friday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Immaculee Conception Church, 99 Garnet Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, September 21st at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society - Breast Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family.
