Monday, August 26, 2019Dear Judy This is a voice from the past. I am Lynn Morris (Baird). My parents Nellie & Jimmy we’re close friends of your grandparents, Ruth & Fred, who I always called Aunt & Uncle and who I loved dearly. They were so proud of your wonderful Mom and her accomplishments and were over the moon when you arrived their “darling Judy” Your Mom was my grade one teacher in Memorial School in Welland and every morning before school was coached not to call her “Nita”, but. Mrs.Halaiko. If I remember correctly, that was about the time you were expected. I have wonderful childhood memories of your dear family and wish you peace as you look back on your own memories. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your family Lynn

Sunday, August 25, 2019Judy, Kristin, and family members, I am so very deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Anita. I will treasure my 6 years with her and the wonderful stories she shared with me about her family and during her teaching years. I felt privileged to have Anita as a client and sharing quality time with her whether it was in the pool, out on her balcony, or her sitting in her lounge chair while spoiling my Therapy Dogs, who each thought they were her favorite! I would often bring their “dog show ribbons” as she was so proud of each of them, and often she would say to others, “look at what my dogs won!” She was a wonderful listener and she took a genuine interest in all that I was doing as I often would share what was going on in my life. I will truly miss my special visits with her, but my memories in time will be forever in my heart. Judy, Kristin, and family, it is especially difficult to lose such a cherished member of your family as Anita was and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Virginia Davies, with 'Anita’s Therapy Dogs', Abbey, Lizzie, and Cruze
