Obituary of Donnie McIntyre

MCINTYRE, Donnie

With great sadness we announce the passing of Donnie at his home, on Sunday, August 4, 2019 surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Loving Son to Shirley and the late Donald. Husband to Letitia and Dad to Jeffrey (Megan), Brandon (Kim), Steven, Patrick and Justin. Cherished Grandpa to Tyler, Dereck, Jayden, Jacob and Kallen. Brother to Sheila (Marco), Debbie (Rick), Nancy and Tommy (Donna). He will be dearly missed by his Father-in-law Gerald Gorman and his wife the late Teresa, his in-laws Angela (Frank), Gerald (Sheri), David (Sherry), Christopher and Anthony (Sara). He will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Uncles, Aunts and many other extended members and friends.

Donnie was a hard worker, working at Sears, Regal Tent Productions and the Brick making sure everything was done to perfection before going home. He will be remembered the most by his heart of gold and his loving hugs. He was an avid lover of baseball, always singing “Take me out to the ball game” which he passed down to his boys.

A special thank you to all the nurses at St. Elizabeth for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines Friday, August 9, 2019 from 10:30 a.m.-12p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home following visitation at 12p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
