Obituary of Anne Oneschuk
ONESCHUK, Anne
Born Anne Klym, August 3rd, 1930, Rossburn MB, passed away peacefully July 3rd, 2019 at the NHS- Welland Site in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving parents John (1977) and Mary (1993), her husband Michael (1995) and sister-in-law Anne Connon (2017). Survived by her loving children Gail (David), Greg (Mark) and Kelly; grandchildren Kevin (Tanya), Colin, Nicole and Justin. Also survived by her sisters Elsie, Net and Elaine. Anne was a devoted part-time employee of Sears Canada from 1969-1993. She also served as a Permit Teacher with the Manitoba Dept. of Education at the tender age of 17 and was assigned to Perth School. Anne was an avid bridge player, participating in many local tables including Anchor Pointe Retirement Residence where she happily resided for the past 3 years. Anne was a kind, sweet, patient and generous individual who always placed family first, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Alfred R. C. Church. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the Medical Staff of both the NHS- St. Catharines and Welland sites, Woolcott Wing for their attentive and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11a.m. in the funeral home’s chapel. A private family Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
