GREEN, Douglas Richard “Doug”

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 74. He will be dearly missed by his children Kimberley (Patrick) and Geoff (Katelyn), Grandchildren Gracelynn, Markian and Clare. Brother to Bill (Bonnie), Kathy (Martin), Jim (Pat) and predeceased by Donald (Dolly), Dorothy (Joe), Al (Helen), Jack (Erma) and Mary (Bruce). He will also be missed by Debbie Reid, many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends. Doug had a long career with Loomis/DHL followed by a long “career” at Niagara Brew Club. The family would like to thank all the Nurses NHS- St. Catharines Site for all their care and compassion. In accordance with Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME (905) 937-4444. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at the Imperial Veterans’ Association, 15 George St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.
