Obituary of Ted Trojanowski

TROJANOWSKI, Ted-  Passed peacefully at 86 years of age with family by his side on June 27, 2019 at Linhaven Home in St. Catharines. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on August 25, 1932. His parents, Joseph and Katherine (Cajka) Trojanowski, emigrated from Poland. Survived by his loving wife, Jennie, two sons, Tom Trojan (Jenniffer Julich) and Theo Trojanowski (Xueran Cui), and grandchildren, Cassandra Julich-Trojan (Jordan Rakowski) and Austin Julich-Trojan (Alicia Chiodo). Ted will be missed by his surviving sisters, Helen Popiel and Sophie (Gord) White, and sister-in-law, Jan Trojanowski. Ted was uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Trojanowski.

Ted graduated from Ryerson Institute of Technology and then from University of Western Ontario. He had a long and successful career from draftsman to Professional Engineer (mechanical) to management with Dana Corporation. He enjoyed travelling, both business and personal. Golf stood out in the forefront of all his leisure passions. Ted was a long time member of Lookout Point Country Club in Pelham where, in addition to his golf, he enjoyed dining with family and friends.

Ted was known for his ability to fix things and for his technical and planning skills. Remembered by his sons for his love, support, and encouragement throughout numerous life experiences.

Ted was actively involved in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in St. Catharines from the construction of the church building and its maintenance, to lector and usher.

A special thank you from family to the staff at Linhaven Home for their attentive care and compassion and to Father Antoni Degutris and the congregation of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

A private funeral was held followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
