Obituary of Jozef Mazurkiewicz

MAZURKIEWICZ, Jozef - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, June 28th, 2019 at his residence at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Stefania for 59 years. Cherished father of Henryk (Jadwiga), Teresa and Mark  (Laura). Loving Dziadziu of Sarah, Ashley, Taylor, Katie and Melissa. Brother of Mary. He will be sadly missed by his niece Krystyna and nephew Krzysiek. Jozef was employed at ITT Aimco for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors, family, friends and working on his grapes to make wine. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor.  The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Kim Adzich, Dr. Bob McMillan (Susan) and Nurse Alex, for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 2nd from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Tuesday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10a.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church would be appreciated by the family.
