KRYNICKI, Dorothy Lilia
July 10, 1965 - June 25, 2019
Left us for the arms of Jesus. Now reunited with her parents, Chester and Janina. Left to mourn with loving memories are her friends: Lucia and Luigi Ferrante, and their children Laura, Liana (goddaughter), and Lucas; Danuta and Jerzy Wagner, and their children Konrad, Lukasz, and Daniel (godson); Angie and Carlos Cabrero, and their children Michelle, Mireya, and Carlos Jr.; France and Vito Di Paola, and their children Nick and Andrew; Anne, Dave and Miles Hodson; Denise, George and Victor Papaiz; Nicolene Aymar and family; Darlene Berg and family. Also remembered by family in Poland, and her many friends made through Brock University, yoga, Zumba, Run Girl Run, and Wellspring. Dorothy will be missed by all who she engaged with in conversation and those who were greeted by her warm smile. Dorothy was an Administrative Assistant in the Political Science department at Brock University. "Dorotka" was known for her love of gardening. She would often share flowers from her garden with all of her friends on special occasions. Dorothy loved to partake in gatherings with friends and their families. She was a longtime parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, where she also participated in the choir and as a lector. Heartfelt thanks to all the angels at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital, NHS-St. Catharines and Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Also, thank you to Father Andy and Sister Louise for their spiritual guidance. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cathedral or to the Fidelis Kambilige Memorial Scholarship in Political Science.
