Obituary of Marianna "Mary" Trojanowski

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marianna “Mary” on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Walter (1994). Loving Mom to Donna (the late Gabriele) Bellante and Barbara (Frank) Evangelista. Cherished Baba to Rick (Samantha), Gina, Frankie (Stephanie), Jason (Agata), Vanessa (Tim) and Great Baba to Dara, Alycia Erica, Alexandria, David, Julia, Emily and Vivian. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her sister Janina Zebik.

Mary was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, The Canadian Polish Legion and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary. She worked in Housekeeping at the old General Hospital for many years making many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heidehof for all their care and compassion over the past few years. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Rosary being held at 7p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
