Dr. Jagdish Mehta.
Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2019, in his 83rd year, at St. Catharines General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by his wife Lalita of 57 years, his one and only son Samir, his one and only daughter Sangeeta (Avi) Hollo; his one and only grand-son Ravi, his one and only grand-daughter Meena. He was a devoted and loving Husband, Father and Grandfather who always took care of his immediate and extended family in India.
Jagdish worked at Shaver Hospital for 25 years, where he ultimately became the Medical Director. A devoted Rotarian for 38 years, and President of Lincoln County Academy of Medicine, and India-Canada Association.
The family will receive friends and guests at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. St Catharines, on Saturday June 8, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Cremation has already taken place. If so desired donations to the Rotary Club of St. Catharines would be appreciated.
