It is with great sadness that the family announces Peter Neville passed away peacefully after a courageous battle against cancer, on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at his home with his loved ones by his side, at the age of 81. He leaves his wife and best friend of 61 years, Patricia Neville, his son Kevin (Cathy), his daughter Andrea (Dale), his granddaughter Ashlyn, his grandson and wee pal Peter. He is survived by his sister-in-law, brother-in-law, many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, Scotland and England. Peter was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, moved to and resided in Canada for 52 years. He worked at the Ontario Paper Mill for 29 years where he retired from and spent many years after playing golf, travelling and spending valuable time with family and friends. He was the ‘life of the party’ and touched many peoples’ hearts with his kindness and good humour. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Sunday June 9, 2019 from 10a.m.-2p.m. for a Celebration of Life. Reception to follow ceremony. Cremation has already taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
