It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Millie, surrounded by her family, on May 26, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Elmer (1992). Cherished Mom to the late Grant (2000) and Wendy Jayne (David) Harvey. Loving Mother-in-law of John (Paula) Kerr. Amazing Gram to Becky (Joey) Hoffer, Jennifer (the late Jason) Gohm, fishing buddy Melissa “Missy” Kerr, Jamie, Dale and Mallory Rose. Devoted Great Grandmother to Dustin and Andrew Hoffer, Isabella and Danielle Kerr, Keirra and Corey Gohm. She will be dearly missed by her sister Marguerite Schram, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her 6 siblings. A special thank you to John and Sue Quast, Nancy Copeland and Gene Ewing for all their love. Thank you to Dr. Hansenberger and the palliative team. In accordance to Millie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 4 p.m. A private family Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Diabetes Association of Canada.
