Obituary of Shirley Hunt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Shirley May Hunt at the Hotel Dieu -  Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines on May 14, 2019. Shirley was born in Sydney Nova Scotia on November 20, 1941. She is predeceased by Gordon Hunt, her parents Joe and Peggy Richardson (Fry), her sisters Heather Steele, Janet Murray, her son James Poirier and granddaughter Victoria Krushelniski. Shirley is survived by her daughter Shelley Poirier (Lorne Gillard) her son Blair Richardson, grandchildren Sheena Richardson, Diana Richardson, Zachary Gillard, Allison Gillard, and Christopher Gillard. She will forever be remembered by her siblings, Debbie Currie (Bob), Getta Murphy, Joseph Richardson(Pat) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, celebration of life will be held at a later date.
