Obituary of Russ Delaney

Russ Delaney.

Passed May 8, 2019 at Hospice Niagara, after a brief battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Chris, and their children Lindsay, Justin (Jenny), Cameron (Nicole), Alex (Cassandra). He was an amazing Pepere to Declan, Quinn, Odin, Leila, Emmett, and Harper.  Sadly missed by his mother-in -law Julie Woodward, as well as his family members in Cape Breton.  Pre-deceased by his parents Gerard & Lucy-May. 

Russ loved spending time with his family, travelling, and was an avid Nascar fan. There wasn't a Sunday that went by that he missed a race.

Special thanks to all the staff, and volunteers at Hospice Niagara for their amazing care, to both Russ and family members.

Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home, on Tuesday May 14, from 10am -12pm. A celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon, in the chapel.  At Russ' request cremation has taken place. A burial service will be held in Cape Breton at a later date.
