Obituary of Eileen Mary Johnston

Johnston, Eileen.

Peacefully on May 7, 2019 at St Catharines General Hospital, after a short illness. Loving wife to Roger for 52 years.  Amazing mom to Stephanie (John), Marc, Ryan (Tamara) and special Grannie to Graicelin, and Payton, and her furry grand puppy Lily.  Also survived by siblings Gary (Catherine) Laba, and Angela (David) Savage, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Eileen was a selfless lady, who loved her family and garden, where she spent many an hour pruning, and trimming.  She was a previous winner of the Trillium Mayor’s Choice Award.

Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines, on Sunday May 12, from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  A celebration of life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church 80 Main St, St Catharines on Monday May 13, at 11am.  Cremation has already taken place.
