Thursday, May 9, 2019My condolences to all the family members of Vera. I first met your parents when i worked at the Duck, they would come in on grocery day sit in dining room and i waited on them several times. I then was working at the Legion in Port and was friends with your Mom there. I seen her a few times at the Loyalist and was nice ti see her when i was there selling my Hubcap Art. She loved them as you all know as she got some for you all. I miss the Legion days as Vera did also. She love to dance have fun go to the diners through out the years and of course her draft beer. She was a lovely person and i will cherish the memories of her. Prayers are with you all. Yours Karen

Thursday, May 9, 2019Peggy, Cathy, Laura and Tom our deepest sympathies for the loss of your Mom. We have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Vera having spent many summers at your house and visiting with our Dad. I would like to share one of them with you, we were at your house and our Dad and your Mom decided to sing a song together, I remember it well "Yellow Rose of Texas" so now every time I see yellow roses or hear that song it reminds me of your Mom and my Dad. So many great memories at the Trailer and then later on when your Mom bought the trailer she always welcomed us with open arms to come in visit have a drink, eat. We will miss Aunt Vera dearly. Diane & Geoff
