Gene has been a friend from my highschool years when I was a ball boy to the present. A great athlete and a personality bigger than life. My father and mother enjoyed him and he did cause my father to look on Gene's antics with consternation. I will miss the zeal he showed for life and how he could "hold court" at homecoming. As old gryphons gather, our stories of Gino will entertain and cause us to keep his memory alive. My family's condolences to Lexi and Ana; your father impacted all who met him.

He had a big heart. He was a great dart player, as well as team mate. He will be missed.

I played slo pitch with Gene and had many good memories in his company. He was a good guy, teamate and friend. Our paths didn't cross much over the years, but as with true friends, when they did it was as if no time had passed. Rest in Peace, Gino.

Gene was a memorable character and a fine teammate and team player. I'm glad to have shared the court and the field with him.
