I have always admired your mum from the day I met her. Her beautiful skin, her style but most of all how caring she was along with a great sense of humour. I feel blessed to have known her. My sincere sympathy to all of the family. With love. Isobel Douglas

My sincerest condolences to the Turnbull family. I hadn't seen "Aunt" Olive since "Uncle" Al's passing. I have so many fond memories visiting Aunt Olive and Uncle Al during my childhood, especially at Christmas enjoying the best shortbread! Sending love, light and prayers to you all ♥️

Very sorry to hear of Olives passing. She was a classy lady and will be missed by many. I knew Alfie and Olive since 1976 and ran Into them many times after Alfie retired walking at the Pen. They are together again.

Nanny will be missed by many, she always treated me like one of her grandchildren and always let me get away with calling her Nanny. I will always remember her keen sense of fashion and her smile that would light up a room. I always enjoyed the time I got to spend with her and feel privileged to have had her in my life. So thank you for sharing her with me and allowing me to be apart of her life. I know she touched my life in many ways as I am sure she did with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sending my condolences to Paul, Alan and the rest of the family and especially to my Uncle Keith, without him I would have never had the pleasure of knowing Nanny.

My sincerest sympathy to the Turnbull family on the loss of their mother. Olive was a wonderful woman who always greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. I always felt welcome in her home. I will forever have fond memories of Olive and the good times at the “Turnbull Basement Pub”.
