 It is with heavy hearts and an ocean of tears that we announce the unexpected passing of beloved Adelisa Baptista on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 in her 75th year and the passing of beloved Cesar Baptista on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 in his 76th year, following a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).In life, as in death, Cesar and Adelisa were inseparable. Married in 1964, they were devoted and loving parents to Edd (Tamara), Ria, Aldo (Jenny), Donna (Mark) and proud grandparents to Jessica, Samuel, Hailey, Grace, Christian, Charlie, Emma, Donald and Thomas. They were dearly loved and will be missed by their family and friends. A visitation is scheduled to take place at George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines) on Friday, April 26th from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. A funeral mass is scheduled to take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines) on Saturday, April 27th at 12pm.
