I visited my good friend Laura twice when they still lived at the Dominican Republic and one time for Laura‘s wedding in Canada. I remember Laura’s mum Debbie as a wonderful, caring and very generous host, loving mum to Laura and her siblings and faithful wife to Bill. I am sad to hear about her passing and pray for supernatural strength for the family in this hard time. The Lord is with you, and will guide you through the valley! He is faithful!

I remember Debbie visiting the medical clinic in Los Algodones, Dominican Republic. She comforted and encouraged those in the clinic and especially one young lady with two very young children, who was very seriously sick. I still have a picture of her loving that young lady. Debbie was quiet but her compassion spoke volumes. She reflected the light of Jesus in this world and is a unique child of God.

I am so sorry for your loss as a family. Indie not know her well, but what I did know of her was wonderful. She will be very missed. The whole family continues to be in our prayers as you work out life moving forward without her there. May you find strength in each other and may your faith deepen as you find rest in God.

Debbie always had a way of making you feel welcome and at home. Anyone who has stayed with the Stephenson's for a night or more will always remember her amazing hospitality, ceasar salad, love for her family and sharing how God is working in her life. These memories will always stay in my heart.
With Love,
Brendon & Navodhi
