It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of George at home on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 75. Always loved by his spouse Theresa Chubak. Loving father to John Trelford (Kelly), Robert Trelford (Sheri), Kerri Trelford, Jodi Rucci (Adam) and step-children Alexis Eashak (Chris), Deidre Drevensek (Ivan) and Jessie Stoppard (Ben). George will forever be remembered and loved by his grandchildren Caitlyn, Jaden, Kalei, Jessica, Alex, Tristen, Ethan, Jace, Cherise, Cameron and Isabella. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Rose Brew (Bill), David Trelford (Mark), his sister-in-law Heather and brother-in-law Sheldon Chubak. Predeceased by his brother William. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George’s life will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
