It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marlene on Monday, April 1, 2019, at the age of 77 she is safe in the arms of her beloved Saviour. Beloved wife of Edgar for 54 years. Loving Mom to Cheryl, Laura (Jin), Joanne (Mark) and Jonathan (Rachel). Cherished Grandma to Nelson, Madeline, Zoe, Corey, Chelsea, Rachel, Noah, Josh and James. She will be missed by her brothers Orlin (Audrey) and Dale (Katie).
Marlene had a great love for painting, reading, baking and cooking. She had a deep love for the Lord and for others.
In accordance with Marlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethany Community Church, 3rd St. Louth, St. Catharines at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Memorial donations may be made to Compassion Canada or a charity of your choice.
