Obituary of Barbara "Barb" MacSporran

MacSPORRAN, Barbara (nee Child)

January 27, 1940 - March 31, 2019

Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Loving wife of the late Ross (2013) for 53 years. Proud mother of Brenda (Aaron) Newhouse, Jeffrey, David (Dawn) and Kenneth. Cherished Nan of Billy, Leah and Darius who will miss her dearly.

Barb enjoyed being outdoors gardening and walking. She also would love to do puzzles, Sudoku and use to be a part of Tune Twister Choir, Dance Fit and Heart Fit. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren giving them every opportunity to be successful in life. Barb had a strong emotional bond to all the family pets.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 11a.m.-1p.m. with a private family inurnment at a later time. If desired, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
