Obituary of Marie Toner
Toner: Marie.
Sadly we announce the passing of Marie at, St Catharines General Hospital, on March 28th 2019. She will be greatly missed by her family, and friends, in both Canada and Ireland. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Ed, her children Patrick (Fiona), John (Anna), Fiona, and Gary (Sandra). Her grandchildren Liz, Jessica, Shea, Sean, Aidan, Eoghan, and Lauren. She will be deeply missed by her sister Margaret (Mick) Leane, and nephew Gavin.
A special thank you to the Nursing staff, and Dr. Sangha at the St Catharines General Hospital, for their professionalism, and compassion.
The family will receive guests at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines, on Tuesday April 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9pm, Vigil Prayers will be held at 8pm. A funeral mass for Marie will be held at
St. Alfred Church 272 Vine St, St Catharines, on Wednesday April 3rd at 11am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
If so desired donations to Canadian Mental Health Association, or the Alzheimer Society, in Marie’s name would be appreciated by the family.
