DAMIANO, Pasquale “Pat”

Surrounded by his loving family, Pat passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of 47 years and together for 50 years to Bev. Loving Dad to Paul (Stephanie) and Jennifer (Dino) Bussi. Cherished Papa to Eric, Kaitlyn, Megan, Jimmy and Matthew. Son to Giovanna and the late Nicola and son-in-law to the late Phyllis and Jimmy Downes. Brother to Mike (Teresa), Rosemary Thompson, Ninetta (John) Egan, Nina (Steve) Ferguson and Anthony (Dawn). Brother in law to Sandra (the late Paul) Bissonnette. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other extended family members and friends.

The family would like to say thank you to the nurses Stacey and Kaitie on 2A Unit, the Palliative Care Unit and the many Doctors at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers being held at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. Memorial donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital – Lung Transplant Unit or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
