Alton, Mary Jane
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday March 4, 2019 in her 96th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Alex of over 69 years. Much loved Mother of Carolyn (the late Ed) Hannaford, Earl (Diana), the late Kathy Bulitz, the late John (Chris) Alton, Alexa (the late Larry) Konkle, and Eddie (Cyndi). Proud grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Mom will be fondly remembered by her siblings, nieces and nephews, and friends here, and in Florida. Mom will also be fondly remembered by all her old neighbours and friends at 7 Gale Crescent, and by her friends at Royal Henley Retirement Community.
Special thanks to the nurses in the NHS in Niagara Falls, and the Shaver Hospital for all your care and extreme compassion.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive guests on Sunday March 10th from 2-4pm, with a Celebration of Life on Monday March 11th at 1pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines.
