Bill's better half, Margaret, and I grew up together in Thorold South. Unbeknownst to each other, we both got engaged on New Year's Eve and planned our weddings for the same weekend in April. Bill and Margaret got married on the Friday and Ed and I got married the following Monday. Bill was always there to lend a hand, when the stock car needed repairs after crashing at Merrittville, and later when we built the cottage at Cape Croker. After we lost our partners, we ended up as neighbours in the CAW Retiree Village. Say hi to Margaret for me.
