Candy and family, as one of the coffee shop gang, my deepest condolences in your loss of Jerry. I have known Jerry since my days with A&P, and my sales days with Kraft Foods Canada. Many a laugh and story we have shared. I shall treasure my last chat with him, just a few weeks ago, from my home here in London, Ontario. Jerry was a deeply devoted family man, and a loyal friend. He will be missed by all who had the honour of knowing Jerry. Keep him alive in your memories, may he rest in peace.
Sincerely.
Geoffrey Joseph Peterson

Dear Candy & Boys,
Jerry was our “favourite brother-in-law”! He definitely deserves the title ‘King of Hospitality’. Over the many years that we made our way to St. Catharines for a visit, Jerry always made us feel welcome…from his first standard greeting of “How was the drive?”to his quick offering of, “Can I get you a beer?”He made sure that we were comfortable, very well fed and making ourselves totally at home. One of our best memories was our annual Canada Day weekend trips to visit .As teachers at the time, we loved to poke fun at Jerry as we reminded him we were now on 10 weeks of summer vacation and were hoping to spend most of that time around the pool with him. Of course that opened the door to all of his “school teacher stories” which we endured with good humour.
Jerry was bigger than life and a one of a kind character and was much loved by us all. He will be very much missed.
love
Chris & Janice
