Obituary of Mary Rose Nemcko
March 26, 1931-February 12, 2019. It is with great sadness that her family announces Mary’s passing with her boys by her side, in her 88th year. Pre-deceased by her husband John (1991). Beloved mother to the late Robert (2010) (Sandi), Gary (Sylvia), and Ron (Chris). Cherished grandmother to Greg (Lise), Robbie (Seungeun), Cassie (Corey), Julia (Tyler), Michael (Haley) and Kristen. Loving great-grandmother to Liam and Lucas. Devoted sister to Leo (Sharon) Wisnowski, and the late Tony & Clare Wisnowski. She will join her loving parents the late Karl and Stella Wisnowski.
Mary was totally devoted to her family, and spoiled everyone with her amazing culinary skills. While busy with a successful real estate career, she was a parishioner at St. Julia’s R.C. Church and a member of the C.W.L. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Henley House Montebello Park Unit, and the Palliative Care Team at the Niagara Falls General Hospital for their excellent care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 14th from 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Julia’s R.C. church on Friday February 15th at 10am, with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers.
