Obituary of Marjory Regina Rattray

RATTRAY, Marjory R. (nee Calderone)
May 25, 1915 - February 1, 2019

Passed away peacefully at the remarkable age of 103. Predeceased by her husband John, her son John Jr., parents Joseph and Mary Calderone, siblings Gus, Sarah, Rose, Joe and Frank. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjory was born and raised in St. Catharines. She was the last of the Calderone family, known for their store J. Calderone and Sons on St. Paul Street. 

Marjory was grateful for the excellent care she received at Henley House and Anchor Pointe over the years. Also, special thanks to the friends and family who demonstrated their care and support with Marjory. This meant the world to her. 

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, February 7 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A Funeral Service for Marjory will follow in the funeral home ceremony room at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations in Marjory's memory may be made to the Rankin Cancer Run, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
