Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 32. Loving son of John and Bonnie. Cherished brother to Amy. Nephew to Henri. Matthew will also be lovingly remembered by his dear friend Jessica Pennelli. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his grandparents, Roman and Stella Gontarczyk & Gerald and Doris Smith. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, January 28 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service for Matthew will be held on Tuesday, January 29 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Out of the Cold would be greatly appreciated by the family.
