Passed away peacefully with family by her side at home on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Bruce. Cherished Mom of Carol (John), Gail, Barb (Gord) and Jim. Grandmother of Eryn (George), Tom (Stacy), Kirstyn, Casey (Nicki), Brett (Jody), Jared (Kelly), Kiel (Sam), Ethan, Jamie (Zack), Robin, Kim and 15 Great-Grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister June (Norman), nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. John Taliano, Heather Whitworth, Palliative Care and Paramed Nurses for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Barb’s Life will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, at 11 a.m. In accordance with her wishes, no flowers please, memorial donations may be made to Community Care or Salvation Army.
