BAKER, Eleanor
Peacefully, in the early morning of December 25, 2010, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, Eleanor, age 87.
Beloved wife of the late James Baker. Loving mother of Ken, Janice (Ed Osowiec) and Maureen. Cherished grandmother of Ed (Natalie), Bryan and Michael Osowiec, Ashley and Corey Baker, and great-nan of Benjamin and George Osowiec.
Dear sister of Gwen (Morton) Redding of Lockeport, NS, Minard (Marie) Swim of Bridgewater NS, Shirley (Cliff) Kelley of Moncton, NB and sister-in-law of Kathleen Baker. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clinton and Regina Swim of Clark's Harbour, NS.
Eleanor was a devoted parishioner of Star of the Sea Church and member of the CWL.
Eleanor is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Church, Port Dalhousie, on Friday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
