ELLIS, Mary (nee Montreuil)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Jim (2016). She will be dearly missed by her beloved pet Sonny. Cherished sister to Liz (Floyd), Bruce (Anne), the late Darlene (the late Keith), Tim (Teresa), Dean and the late Mark and sister-in-law to Phil (Carol). Special niece of Lucille and Irene. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and many other extended family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Viola and Joe. A special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Health Care and Walker Family Cancer Centre for all their care and compassion. In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering, to honour Mary, will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration, 320 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
