From the first time I met Randy nearly 7 years ago, I knew I was in the presence of a truly remarkable person. The more I learned about him, his life history and accomplishments, the more I grew to respect him and cherish our friendship. I enjoyed Randy and Mary's company and extraordinary hospitality over the following years, and my initial impression of Randy was both confirmed and strengthened. Rarely have I met someone so infused with empathy, kindness and generosity. Randy and Mary helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life, and they did so with grace, unconditional love and support. For that time, and for all of the other fun times that we shared together, I will be forever grateful to them. My life is richer for the friendship that Randy provided to me. I am deeply saddened that his children, grandchildren and extended family have to bid him farewell at such a relatively young age. And to Mary, my heart goes out to you. Thank you for all the love and support that you gave him, particularly in the past two years. Randy has been called home too early for our liking, no doubt for a purpose we can't fully understand. In his honour, let's rejoice and celebrate the remarkable man that he has been in our lives, and let his love and influence live on in all of us.

Of course it's been many years since I saw or heard news of, or even thought of "Big Randy", but who could ever forget his "ZHONE AND LEENDA!" He was always making us kids laugh.

Randy Carbone was without doubt one of the most light hearted and funny individuals I had the privilege of being related to. He was always happy and cheerful and the type of person who could walk into a room and light it up. His smile always had a way of making other's feel better and he will be dearly missed. Even in his final days Uncle Randy still had the time to crack jokes with the nurses; he truly was a 10 year old on the inside of 68 year old's body. To his wife & kids and immediate family I would like to send my deepest condolences

Dear Mary & Family,
While we extend our hearts to you in deepest sympathy on the loss of Randy, we hold on to some wonderful memories of time spent together, and of the many laughs we shared.
Randy was a very special person with a rich, God-given, sense of humour. He brightened the lives of people he touched, which certainly held true for us. Our hope for you is that, at times when you most feel his loss, you'll find strength in recalling many of the wonderul memories you made together.
Please know that we are holding you warmly in our thoughts and prayers at this time of your great loss.
Love,
Stu & Ann

So sorry to read about Randy's passing. My Condolences to all his family. I can imagine Randy enjoying all his children and grandchildren. I bet he spoiled all of them. I knew Randy from High School, a very gifted tradesman with anything that went into a automoblie. When at Lakeport I asked him one day well what did you do last night, his answer Oh I changed the transmission in my car. Always had a smile on, God Bless You Randy,
