Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 57 years to Donna. Loving father of Jody (Rob), Ken (Joyce), Bill (Deb) and David (Jenn). Cherished grandfather to Jennifer (John), Kenny, Robbie (Carley), Ashley (Matt), Jordan (Katy), Kate (James), Abigail and Elizabeth. Great-grandfather of Ariadna, Jackson and Tyler. Much loved brother of Jean (John) Homenick. John will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of John's life will take place at the Church Of The Transfiguration, 320 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines on Saturday, December 15th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Church Of The Transfiguration or to Niagara Post Polio.
