Obituary of Muriel Elizabeth McCormick
Passed away peacefully on December 7th at Garden City Manor. Loving Wife of James. Loving Mother of James Jr, and Kelly. Mother in Law to Maria. Proud Grandma to Scott and Colin, she will be greatly missed by her family and pets. Pre-deceased by Brothers Don & Doug Scott.
As a young woman she was employed at Thompson Products, where she contributed to the building of engines on the Avro Arrow. She then married and became a home maker and a full time Mom. She had a lifelong love of animals, and could usually be found petting what-ever animal was near her.
In accordance with Muriel’s wishes cremation has taken place, and has been entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St. St Catharines.
If so desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
