It was always a pleasure attending Ingham/Miller/Elliott functions where we knew Joe would be in attendance. Whoever was fortunate enough to have the seat next to Joe shared in the most wonderful conversations with a man who was always happy, always interested in dialogue, and most of all, who always loved to laugh. Joe was a neighbor on Richard Street who often sat in his garage as the mayor overseeing his constituents! There was always a lawn chair beside him in the garage which wasn't vacant for long when the opportunity to cross the street and take a place beside him existed. To Faye & family, our deepest sympathies. We know there's a chair beside him in heaven waiting for the next in line to enjoy his company.
Greg, Allison, & Family.

Dear Mrs. Elliott, Barry and Elliott family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I was thinking the other day I had not seen Mr. Elliott sitting waiting patiently at the front of the store while the ladies shopped. It allowed him time to fill me in on the family and of course his special times spent with Barry. I loved his big smile!!!
The memories you made will get you all through this sad time.
Love to you all,
Roberta

If you didn't like Joe, you just didn't like people. Every time Joe saw you he greeted you with genuine affection and a broad smile as if you were his best friend he hadn't seen in 20 years. He took a sincere interest in everyone he spoke to. Joe had an easy going manner and a penchant for a good conversation. His family will miss him but his legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren and now, his great grandchildren. Well done Joe! Rest in peace.
Matt and Debra
