Please accept my sympathy in Mavis' passing. I have been a friend of Mavis since we lived in Scarborough and were raising our young children. She was a wonderful person and a very good friend. She will be missed! God Bless.

My deepest condolences to Mavis’s family. It was my pleasure to be Mavis’s DMH
Auxiliary volunteer partner at the Douglas Memorial Hospital Tuck Shop on
Thursday afternoon.
When our shift was not too busy our conversation turned to baseball and some politics, which made it interesting to work with Mavis. She was a great conversationalist, and listener.
Mavis spoke of her family with love, respect and pride.
RIP Mavis

Bill Ferguson remembers the three Fisher sisters with great affection, as he married Wilma and maintained a close relationship with Mavis after Joan passed. Mavis always welcomed us in her home with her customary warmth and charm, and we will miss her. Our condolences to the extended family.

I was so sorry to learn of Mavis' passing. She was a fabulous lady --- and am so pleased to have known her. She certainly had more than her share of heart break and loss , but yet she was always so upbeat. Cherish your fond memories.

To The family - So Sorry to hear of Mable's passing. I knew her from the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a tireless volunteer and always cheerful.
I remember her looking forward to a baseball game in Toronto with her daughter and granddaughter.
She was a pleasure to work with in the Gift Shop - so knowledgeable.
She will be so missed.
May God grant her eternal rest.

My memories of Mrs Twitchin are wayyy back to my teen years. Karen and I would get together with her mother and make chocolates in assembly line fashion. It was so much fun. I would go over to her house after school a lot and got to know her and Darlene very well. Fond memories of my special relationship with Mrs Twitchin, Darlene and my dear friend of almost 50 years, Karen Gibson. May you all meet in heaven and resume your very special family. ❤❤❤

I will truly miss Auntie Mavis! Although my sisters and I only saw her about twice a year, every time we got together is was as though no time had elapsed. She was always upbeat, smiling, positive and enthusiastic about whatever she was doing. Which was considerable. When planning to get together it was always Mavis' busy schedule we had to work around. Shopping, theatre, lunch with her daughter and/or friends. She was amazing!
Love you Auntie Mavis.
