Sitting here watching the Canadiens game, I wast wondering why I haven't seen any of John's famous rants about the Trumpster or any comments about the Habs recent success. Just know did I find out of John's passing. We only met a few years ago when he purchased a new vehicle from me, shortly after moving to Niagara. Any time he was in to get the car serviced, he'd always stop up to say hello and have a chat. Last spring, he called me as he felt it would be a good idea to replace Linda's car, due to his health struggles. Afterwards, he joined me and two friends from the dealership for breakfast. He seemed to be doing better and things appeared to be looking up. I am saddened to hear of his passing and know that he touched many lives and will be sadly missed. Go Habs Go, John.

We only had the pleasure of knowing John for a couple of years but he left a lasting mark on our lives. It was our privilege to have met John and called him our neighbour. Our fond memories of John are many. His happy-go-lucky nature and easy-going manner. His mischievous smile and infectious laugh. His quirky sense of humour. His humility and under-statement of his many accomplishments. HIs pride in all the young people he mentored in baseball. We will miss him and promise to take care of his beloved Linda.

Linda...
How so sorry, I was, to hear of John's illness and passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I was hoping to be able to get to see John, when I first heard of his illness, but due to my own health problems I did not have an opportunity, these past few months, to do much of anything, much less travel.
As you may have heard, I sorrowfully lost my wife, a couple of years ago, due to the same dastardly disease, so, as you may appreciate, I know the sorrow you and your family are feeling.
Wishing you all the peace, love and prayers
Phil

We remember John's surprise at the massive turnout for his Canada Night dinner at our club in Florida where he had invited the few Canadian residents but also "friends of Canadians" and "Canadian wannabes". We came as Canadian wannabes to the packed restaurant that night.
He shouldn't have been surprised since he was very well liked by all of his friends and neighbors. Our canine community too! He always had a pocketful of treats and they could spot him a block away.
Deepest sympathy to Linda for your loss.

Strong, savvy, full of humor, loving ... and most of all dedicated to all that was important to him ... family, friends, baseball, baseball, baseball, and of course his beautiful devoted wife Linda. There are no words to express the poignant sadness and loss of John Jepson Jr. to this world ... world without end, Amen.
