KATERYNIAK, Wasyl “William”

Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre, Toronto, at the age of 96. Beloved Husband of the late Evdokia. He is survived by extended relatives and friends in Canada and Ukraine. Predeceased by his siblings Iwan and Anna. Wasyl was a long time member to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, the Ukrainian Black Sea Hall, League of Ukrainian Canadians and was a Veteran of WWII. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. with Panachyda being held at 7 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be held at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 14 Rolls Ave., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. A reception will follow in the church hall. Memorial donations may be made to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church.
