Obituary of John Sneath

Sneath, John "Big John" - Passed away suddenly at his home on September 15, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Loving husband to Yvette (nee Weicker) for over 51 years. Beloved dad to Dave (Shauna), Jeff (Celynn), and Mike (Meighan). Cherished Grandpa to Nathan, Brooklyn, Anna, Simon, Eryka, Cory and Avery. Devoted brother to Jim (Bev), Karen (Gerry), Mike (Julie), Anna and Colleen. Will be fondly remembered by many loving family members, close friends and canine companion Paddy. John was employed at Bank of Montreal, First Ontario Credit Union, Investors Group and George Darte Funeral Home. He was an original season ticket holder with the Niagara Ice Dogs, and enjoyed watching and supporting the St. Catharines Jr. A's lacrosse.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444. Private family services and cremation have taken place. A celebration of John's life will be held on October 13, 2018 from 4 - 7pm at 14 Springbank Drive, St. Catharines, L2S 2J9. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lincoln County Humane Society.
