STUART, Francis William “Stu”
Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at the age of 79. Loving husband and companion to Donna for 34 years. Cherished father to Sheryl (Ted) Tritchew, Tracey (Hart) Neufeld, Francis (Jill) Stuart and Pam Marler (Dave Plourde). Grandpa will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Alex, Zachary, Francis, Logan, Chelsea, Matthew, Stuart and Spencer, as well as his brother-in-law Gary Cushman.
Stu will be remembered for his tremendous athletic ability, excelling in hockey, baseball and golf in his later years. He touched the lives of all he met with his empathy, his vibrant personality and his endless supply of stories.
Family and friends are welcomed to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday September 9, 2018 from 1:00 -3:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. for visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church on Monday September 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by Stu’s family.
