TAYLOR, Charles “Chuck” Ernest

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, following a brief illness, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Elsie (2013). Loving Father of Brian and his wife Sherry. Special Grandpa of Scott and his wife Courtney of Alberta, and Great Grandpa of Austin. Survived by his dear nieces Carol (Wilf), Dinah, Carol and nephew Jason of England. He will also be missed by his sister in law Janet, of England, great nieces Lisa, Julie, great nephew Michael and their families. Charles was predeceased by his sister Bertha, brother in law Bud and niece Lynda. A special thank you to the Caregivers and Management at Niagara Gardens for their loving care and support of Charles for the past 10 years. Thank you as well to the Nurses in Unit D and Staff at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. In accordance with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Graveside service will be held at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Hwy 20, Fonthill, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. If you wish to attend please meet at the gates of the cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905)-937-4444. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
