Obituary of Margaret McAteer (nee Nelson)

McAteer, Margaret (nee Nelson) - Passed away on Friday July 13, 2018, at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Loving wife of the late William "Bill", for 43 years. Cherished mother to Stephen (Carol), and  Dion (Marty) McParland. A loving and doting Grandma to her three granddaughters Erin, Decla, Grania  and step grandchildren Michael Cooper and Lauren Cooper.  Also predeceased by her siblings Herky (Martha), Jackie (Peggy), Kathleen (Tommy) and Aggie (Joss). She will be greatly missed by many loving family members and those who knew Margaret. The family wishes to thank Dr. O'Reilly and Dr. Nagui, St. Catharines General Hospital - Dialysis and Progressive Care Units for the wonderful care and support to our mom.
A memorial service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at 11am with an hour of visitation prior to service. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Kidney Foundation or St. Catharines General Hospital - Dialysis Unit.
