MATICIC, Alojz P. (Louis)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 75. Loving uncle of Scott, Joey (Connie), Steven (Diana), and Marie (Danny). Great uncle to Brenna, Tyler, Alex and Andrew. Predeceased by his parents, Anton and Maria, and his brother, Joseph. Louis worked for the City of Niagara-on-the-Lake for 25 years. His passions included playing the accordion, piano and sudoku. He will be remembered for his kindhearted, gentle soul. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at The Loyalist as well as Tabor Manor for their kindness. Special thanks to the amazing nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their compassionate care. Arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.
